We are finally catching up to the trend! In the past, True Log Homes has been only a custom, handcrafted log home company. In response to the great demand for log building, we expanded! For several years, we have also been providing a quality lathed/milled-log cabin kit that is competitive in cost to many other log home companies. Here at True Log, you get to make all the log choices!

MILLED LOG HOME/ CABIN KIT

Our True Log LATHED/milled cabin kits have the option of being 8″, 10″ or 12″ round logs, Swedish Coped on the bottom for a perfect stack, and end notched for that traditional corner stack!

You can choose from either a White Wood or Douglas Fir, depending on your preferences and budget!

The log packages we provide have every log numbered and labeled to fit exactly where it goes in your log wall. The doors and windows cut to width, and we also drill the holes that you will need to run electrical outlets and light switch boxes if it’s on your floor plan. We even give the option of using through-bolts in construction!

HANDCRAFTED LOG HOME OR CABIN

Our traditional, HANDCRAFTED Log Homes are typically built with massive 12″, 14″, 16″ or even larger diameter Spruce or Douglas Fir Logs. These Handcrafted log homes are pre-built in our logyard. They are hand peeled, full length logs, hand scribed, hand cut and fit together. All of the log roof system is pre-built in our ‘yard. We predrill and notch out for electrical boxes and precut doors and windows. We then label and disassemble them for shipping to be re-assembled on your home site. These log homes are works of art, crafted with log building methods going back generations.
